N.Y. Cake has always been family owned and operated. It all started in Joan Mansour’s kitchen. It was her spectacular birthday cakes for her children that led to the neighborhood buzz and motivated her to teach others how to decorate cakes. That tradition of creating and sharing the art of cake decorating has been passed down through the generations at N.Y. Cake.

Then our loyal customers started to request that we find and recommend baking products for them. After years of experience in the baking world, we have developed our very own line of products that offer the superior quality and functionality our customers crave. Although we serve a wide variety of customers, we pride ourselves on catering to homemakers who desire high caliber products just like those used in commercial kitchens around the world.

We’re a Huge Warehouse for All Things Baking

Although talent and genuine interest can take you a long way, bakers need the appropriate equipment, baking supplies, and education to be at the top of their game. N.Y. Cake is a convenient one-stop shop for all things baking.

Store and Warehouse Located in Yonkers, we have a 20,000 square foot facility brimming with baking supplies. Out of this facility we have retail mail order as well as complete wholesale divisions. Run by daughter Jenny Kash and husband Eitan Kash customers can now place an order online and pick it up in the warehouse (with 1 hour advance notice). We ship all over the world wholesale and retail. We have a small showroom from which you can purchase things as well.

Manhattan is our flagship store where N.Y. Cake items may be purchased (cash and carry) at retail. We offer a wide variety of products, ranging from simple utensils to those notoriously difficult to find cake tools. Our baking supplies even include specialty items like alphabet silicone molds, silicone chocolate molds, cupcake boxes, polycarbonate chocolate molds, fondant cutters, fondant plungers, cake pans, fondant tools, and much more.

We’re Baking Distributors and Educators

N.Y. Cake started in 1991 with the talented Joan Mansour and is now in its 3rd generation of family bakers. Joan opened her own school of cake decorating and has taught many renowned decorators throughout the years. She has received numerous awards for her baking prowess including induction into the Wilton Hall of Fame.

NY Cake Academy teaches cake decorating to people on all levels. Run by daughter, Lisa Mansour, you can learn how to decorate a cake from start to finish.

Returns Policy

Restocking Fees

A restocking fee will be deducted from your return credit to cover the cost of processing the items back into stock. This fee is 20% of the item(s) cost for commercial locations and 30% for residential locations.

Returns for Commercial and Residential Customers

All regularly stocked items, with the exception of consumable products, can be returned within 30 days of receipt, so long as they are unused and in the original packaging. A return credit will be issued to the original payment method upon receipt and inspection of the product(s). Shipping charges paid at the time of checkout will not be credited along with the return. An applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the amount due. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. This includes any brokerage fees, duties, and taxes for international returns.

Return requests for Special Order products and products shipped direct from the manufacturer must be issued by our Customer Solutions Specialists. Not all Special Order items can be returned.

Returns for Consumable Products

We are unable to accept returned consumable products. This allows us to ensure the products are good to use, untampered with, and have adequate shelf life.

We are unable to accept any returned items on any Special Order.

Availability

Occasionally, we will temporarily run out of stock of an item due to high demand. If this is ever the case for an item you ordered, we will send you an out-of-stock e-mail within 24 business hours. If you have a time-constraint on your order, please respond to the e-mail and our Order Support team will work on a solution for you! You can also feel free to contact a Customer Solutions Specialist to check stock on the items you’re purchasing before your order is placed to ensure availability.

Minimum Wholesale Order – we only have a minimum of $250.00

Minimum Order for Free Shipping –  $2,500 (Effective January 3rd, 2024)
